SON GOKU - The Strongest Under the Heavens

The goal for this one was to make a model of Goku that's neither too stylized nor too realistic. I want to make something appealing yet somehow believable (like the folks at square-enix and capcom do) and most importantly when you look at it you will say....Yeah, that's Goku, not someone cosplaying as Goku or a Toy figurine of Goku
I've been a big fan of DragonBall series (I still am). I started this project on Feb and slowly building it up after work hours. I have the habit of listing to music while working and for this one I was playing DBZ edits, and one day the news of Akira Toriyama's passing showed up. Like many of you, DBZ has been a part of my life and what I do as an artist. Hearing about Akira Toriyama's death saddened me. But as Goku once said "every thing that we suffer for will make sense one day" and Akira's Impact is here to stay.
